User Researcher, Medical Writer
With a lifelong passion for human genetics and wellness, I orbited around the health field for most of my academic career–curating my “big picture” view with a BSc. in Environmental Science, and an MSc. in Soils & Biogeochemistry.
Firstly, I wanted to learn how the environment shaped the food we eat, our agricultural systems, and the nutritional content of our food. This eventually led to a huge interest in microbiology, as plants depend on microbes as much as humans do!
However, I longed for the chance to help others with my work. At Ancestralize I will be able to take my interdisciplinary background including years of research experience and apply it to discovering insights into human health. Outside of research, I enjoy latin dance, soccer, learning about evolutionary biology & anthropology, mushroom hunting, and cooking. My life goal is to bring awareness to technologies and information that can help people achieve optimal health and happiness.
