I became a medical doctor because I wanted to help people get better, but somewhere between the lectures and the long shifts at the University of Zagreb School of Medicine, I fell in love with prevention. Most of what I was learning only kicked in after someone was already sick, and I kept being drawn to the other end of the story: the everyday habits that decide whether people end up there at all. Ancestralize takes that further than prevention alone. It's about getting to the root of health, pairing solid evidence with an ancestral perspective, and giving people a real say in their own care. That's the kind of medicine I wanted to be part of.
I work across research and content, digging into what people actually need to understand and turning clinical evidence into something they can read and act on. I hold all of it to the same standard I'd use with a patient in front of me: honest, grounded, and backed by the research.
Outside of work I'm usually at the gym, where strength training is the one routine I protect no matter how busy the week gets. I'm based in Zagreb with my husband and our dachshund Steve, the most ancestral creature in the house, all instinct and short legs.
